What are Wool-Overs?
Wool-overs are coats for sheep to protect the wool from UV degradation, vegetable matter and dust. They also protect the sheep from inclement weather.
The wool-over is specially designed to cover MORE wool- 20% more wool is covered with the unique LONG-NECK style. SHORT-NECKED styles are also available.
These coats have elastic and adjustable straps to enable the coat to be used through a variety of wool-growing months.
Wool-Overs are made from sturdy Nylon fabric that has been treated to protect it from UV degradation.
The thread used for stitching has also been treated to protect it from weathering.
Wool-Overs are used extensively in the heavily timbered Traprock region of South-east Queensland.
